The American Legion is comprised of veterans who once served in the armed forces and choose to still serve America!
All of us at The American Legion made an oath to The United States of America, that oath has no expiration, we choose to volunteer our time to continue to serve, but as civilians adhering to that oath we made by working in our community teaching youth, assisting veterans, standing on Capitol Hill to let Congress hear our voice to create better laws and service for our communities and veterans, and teaching our communities the constitution and how to stand to protect their own freedoms. There is so much that could be said about the numerous programs created by The American Legion and the millions of hours volunteered a year collectively by our members.
